Barahona is located in the southwestern shores of the Caribbean Sea, in the Dominican Republic. It is a unique coffee-growing region. The climate in the region is a mix of rainy days and sunshine, which allows for 4-5 blooming of varying intensities which in turn makes coffee growers and pickers return five to six times, on average, to the same tree.
Growing in mountainous region in the tropical forest, it makes for a rich and flavoursome cup of coffee.
