But, we are also rather fanatical about tea...

The history of the wonderful drink that we love today begins in China. According to legend the Chinese emperor in 2737BC was sitting under a tree while his servant boiled him some drinking water. Leaves from a nearby Camellia tree floated down and landed in the water, the emperor obviously loved the taste as this is what we now know as tea today!

Tea first started to arrive in Britain in the 1650's and was served a novelty drink in London's coffee houses. Of course, it became much more than a novelty and it is approximated that in the UK 100 million cups are enjoyed everyday. 

It is this universal love for tea that has got us working hard behind the scenes here at Coffeelink HQ. We have immersed ourselves in the wonderful world of tea and have been discovering the perfect blends that we think you will love.
