As you know, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had her Platinum Jubilee on the 6th of February 2022, marking 70 years of her service. She is the longest serving monarch in Britain, and this week celebrations are in order with a long weekend between the 2nd of June and the 5th of June.
During these 70 years, the Queen has travelled to more than 100 countries, one of them being Mexico, which happens to be a country of origins for some of our coffees. One of the counties she visited is Oxaca, which happens to be the neighbour of Chiapas, the region where our Mexico El Triunfo comes from. This coffee has a premium status offered by Fairtrade, and that extra income is invested in research and the farm.
The coffee typically grows under shade, but is then washed and sundried and brings out flavours of chocolate and stone fruit, accompanied by floral notes. It is a medium roast and it makes for a smooth cup of coffee that you can drink at any time of the day.
In order to honour this unique event we have a 25% discount on orders until tomorrow, the 31st of May, so why not try our delicious Mexican coffee?
